மதுரை புதுநத்தம் சாலையில் அமைந்துள்ள பொதுப் பணித் துறை வளாகத்தில் 2.70 ஏக்கர் நிலத்தில், 99 கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்பீட்டில், 2,13,288 சதுர அடி கட்டடப் பரப்பளவில் கட்டப்படவுள்ள அடித்தளத்துடன் கூடிய 8 தளங்கள் கொண்ட கலைஞர் நினைவு நூலகத்திற்கு மாண்புமிகு தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் திரு. மு.க. ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் 11.1.2022 அன்று தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில் காணொலிக் காட்சி வாயிலாக அடிக்கல் நாட்டினார்.

பொதுநூலகங்களில் நூல்கட்டுநர் மற்றும் நூல்கட்டும் உதவியாளர் நியமனம்

மாவட்ட நூலக ஆணைக்‌ குழுக்களின்‌ கீழ்‌ செயல்படும்‌ மாவட்ட மைய நூலகங்கள்‌ மற்றும்‌ அண்ணா நூற்றாண்டு நூலகத்தில்‌ காலியாகவுள்ள நூல்‌ கட்டுநர்‌ மற்றும்‌ நூல்‌ கட்டும்‌ உதவியாளர்‌ பணியிடங்களுக்கு பூவிருந்தவல்லி அரசினர்‌ தொழிற்பயிற்சி மையத்தில்‌ சிறப்பு நேர்வாக புத்தகம்‌ கட்டும்‌ பயிற்சி முடித்த, பார்வைக் குறைபாடுள்ள மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் 31 நபர்கள் நியமிக்கப்பட்டனர். அதற்கு அடையாளமாக, மாண்புமிகு முதலமைச்சர்‌ 5 நபர்களுக்கு பணிநியமன ஆணைகளை சர்வதேச மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகள் தினமான 3 டிசம்பர் 2021 அன்று வழங்கினார்‌.

"Chess Class" for Children on 07.05.2017

Today(07.05.2017) chess program conducted with 60 children by our resource persons Mr. sakkaravarthi and Mr.K.prabhu.They taught about basic rules, piecesmovement,tactics and check,and finished with checkmate position

Story telling programme conducted on 05/05/2017

Today 5.5.17 , 76 children were participated in story telling session.
The programme started with story recitation by children.
Later story telling session were conducted by Resource persons ,Mr. Alvin and m/s Srividhya from Chennai story tellers group.
Actions songs and Dance facilitated by Alvin and and srividhya.
Two stories have been narrated by resource persons with awesome expressions and actions.
Story 1. Title : Greeny and yellowy by Alvin. Story
2. Jackal by Srividhya.
It was followed by the role play activity by children.
The children enjoyed the session with full excitement

As a part of series of events under the title "Kodai Kondattam, Chess Class was organized for kids. Mr. K. Sakravarthi and Mr. S.Umasankar were the resource persons for the event.

Kodai Kondattam Painting Class [17,18,19 Apr 2017] Photos

Anna Centenary Library, Kotturpuram, Chennai organized Three days “Painting“ course for the children aged 8 – 14 years part of "Kodai Kondattam" Summer Camp Childrens Program - April 2017. About 150 children participated in this exclusive class conducted with the guidance of Mrs. Menaka Naresh, expert craft teacher who won more than 80 awards. Children had a purposeful and enjoying time with poster colours, charts, brushes and created colourful landscapes which was a treat to the eyes. The budding artists paintings were displayed at ACL to encourage their artistic skill.
